Janet L Poor

I am currently an Artist at the Tannery Row Artist Colony in Buford Georgia.  I am self taught and I am always learning new methods and incorporating them in my art.  I have been teaching art for over 30 years.  In that time I have grown as an artist as well as my students.  My style is more realistic but with some variations.  I found I love painting animals and bringing them to life.  Below you will find some paintings that were commissioned and some for practice.  I really enjoy bringing pets to life on canvas.
